Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using SelfieSort ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
SelfieSort lets event organisers upload photos and lets attendees find photos containing their face using face recognition technology.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old to create an organiser account.
4. Organiser responsibilities
- You must have the right to upload every photo you upload.
- You must obtain consent from attendees as required by applicable privacy laws before processing their images.
- You may not upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
5. Attendee use
Attendees may only access photos for events they were invited to. Selfies are used solely to match against event photos and are not shared with third parties.
6. Payments & subscriptions
Paid plans are billed in advance for the period selected. See our Cancellation & Refunds policy for details.
7. Data retention
Event photos are automatically deleted after the retention period configured by the organiser (default 30 days). Face embeddings tied to deleted photos are removed at the same time.
8. Acceptable use
You may not attempt to break, reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service, nor use it to identify individuals without their consent.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.
10. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Face matching results may not be perfect.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SelfieSort is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Total liability is limited to fees paid in the prior twelve months.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
