What is SelfieSort?
SelfieSort is a face-recognition photo delivery platform for event photographers. Organisers upload an event gallery once; attendees scan a QR code, take a selfie, and instantly find every photo they appear in — no scrolling through thousands of images. It works for weddings, schools, sports days, conferences, and any event where many people want their photos quickly.

For Organisers
Organisers create events, upload photos, and share access with attendees. An active Organiser subscription is required to create events.
Sign up & subscribe
Create an account with your phone number, then choose an Organiser plan from the Subscribe page to unlock event creation.
Create an event
From the Dashboard, click 'New event' and fill in the name, date, and location. You'll get a unique event code and QR.
Upload photos
Open the event page and upload via drag-and-drop, ZIP, Google Drive link, or local folder sync. Faces are detected automatically.
Share the QR code
Print or share the QR / event code with your attendees. They scan, take a selfie, and instantly see their photos.
Manage & monitor
Track uploads, view analytics, delete unwanted photos, or re-scan photos where no faces were detected.
For Attendees
Attendees join events for free. All you need is the event code or QR shared by the organiser.
Get the event code or QR
Your organiser shares an event code or QR — usually printed at the venue or sent via WhatsApp / email.
Sign in & join
Log in with your phone number (OTP or password), then enter the code or tap 'Scan QR' on your dashboard.
Take a selfie
Snap a clear, well-lit selfie. We generate a private face embedding right in your browser.
View your photos
Matched photos appear sorted by confidence. Browse, download individual shots, or open the lightbox to view in full.
Build a collage
Pick your favourites and generate a shareable collage to download or post on social media.
Bulk Photo Uploads
Direct upload
Drag and drop or select multiple JPG, PNG, WEBP or HEIC images (up to 50 MB each).
ZIP archive
Upload one or more .zip files; photos at the top level are imported automatically.
Google Drive
Paste a Drive folder link with "Anyone with the link" access and we'll sync the photos.
Uploads run in parallel with a live progress bar. Unsupported file types are skipped with a warning.
How face matching works
- Faces in uploaded photos are detected in the organiser's browser using a lightweight neural network.
- Each face is turned into a compact mathematical signature (embedding) — the original image isn't required for matching.
- When an attendee takes a selfie, the same embedding is generated and compared against every face in that event only.
- Matches are scored and ranked; the highest-confidence photos show first. Re-scan can pick up faces missed on the first pass.

Tips for best results
For organisers
Upload high-resolution photos with faces clearly visible. Print the event QR large enough to scan from across the room.
For attendees
Take your selfie in good lighting, facing the camera. Avoid sunglasses or heavy filters for the most accurate matches.
