1. Who we are

SelfieSort ("we", "us") provides face-matching photo delivery for events. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

2. Data we collect

Account data: name, email, organisation name.
Event content: photos uploaded by organisers and metadata you provide (event name, date, location).
Face data: mathematical face embeddings (not raw photos) derived from event photos and from attendee selfies, used solely to match a selfie to photos within the same event.
Usage data: log information such as IP address, browser, and pages visited.

3. How we use data

To operate the photo-matching service.
To authenticate users and prevent abuse.
To process payments for paid plans.
To send service-related notifications.

4. Legal basis

Where required, we rely on your consent (for face data) and on the legitimate interest of providing the Service.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with infrastructure providers (e.g. Supabase, Cloudflare, Razorpay) needed to run the Service, all under appropriate data-processing terms.

6. Retention

Event photos and their face embeddings are automatically deleted after the retention period configured by the organiser (default 30 days). Account data is kept until you delete your account.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted via row-level security and role-based controls.

8. Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@selfiesort.com.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app.
